🎂🍪 Marius’ Birthday Sugar Cookies – TUFFY’s Favorite Recipe
A special batch of sugar cookies in celebration of Marius’ Birthday on July 11!

Ingredients
• 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• ½ teaspoon baking powder
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 1 ½ cups sugar
• 1 large egg
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• ½ teaspoon almond extract (optional but recommended)
• Extra sugar for rolling

Instructions
Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Prepare baking trays with parchment paper.
Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt together.
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add egg, vanilla, and almond extract.
Slowly combine dry ingredients until a soft dough forms.
Roll into small balls and coat lightly with sugar.
Bake for 8–10 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
Cool, share, and celebrate!
✨ Cookie Secret: Chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking for extra soft, bakery-style sugar cookies.
