Before you connect the Apertum Chain to the Whisper Drop on BitcoinTAF.com, make sure you have linked your BSC Wallet to the BitcoinTAF Whisper Drop for the system to read your BTAF Token balance. If you don’t connect your BSC Wallet, the system won’t add you to a Tier and you won’t qualify for a Whisper Drop. Having troubles? See the TROUBLESHOOTING section at the bottom of the answer below.

Connect to the Apertum Chain using Metamask:

1. Using the Browser connected to your Metamask Wallet, open the Whisper Drop Page on BitcoinTAF.com.
2. Click on Connect Chain Wallet, click on Apertum and click ‘Choose’.
3. In Metamask, a pop-up will appear asking permission to add the Apertum Chain to your Wallet. Click on ‘Approve’.
4. In Metamask, click on Binance Smart Chain, go to Custom, click on Apertum. The APTM Token will appear. To go back to the Binance Smart Chain, Click on Apertum, Default Networks, Binance Smart Chain. You can toggle between different chain as often as you need to.

ADDING A CUSTOM NETWORK TO METAMASK

If METAMASK asks you to add the Apertum details as a Custom Network, use the details below:

• Network Name: Apertum Mainnet
• RPC URL: https://rpc.apertum.io/ext/bc/YDJ1r9RMkewATmA7B35q1bdV18aywzmdiXwd9zGBq3uQjsCnn/rpc
• Chain ID: 2786
• Currency Symbol: APTM
• Block Explorer: https://explorer.apertum.io

Once added, MetaMask will recognize Apertum as a native EVM network, just like Ethereum or Avalanche.

TROUBLESHOOTING THE APERTUM CHAIN:

• Question: In Metamask, I do not see the Apertum Chain button.
  • This layout is dependent on the Browser that you are using. If your layout looks different, let us know and we will amend our steps below to accommodate you and other members with the same layout.
• Question: How do I import APTM?
  • APTM is the Native Token to the Apertum Chain, the same as BNB is the Native Token to the BSC Chain. Once you import the Apertum Chain, the APTM Token will automatically be added for you.
• Question: The Metamask window is not appearing on my Browser.
  • Sometimes, when you click too fast, the Metamask Window will hide behind your current browser window. Simply click on the Memamask Browser Extension again and it will re-appear.

Once you have imported a token into your Metamask account, the tokens will automatically be airdropped to the primary wallet you selected. For example, once you add the BTAF Tokens contract to your wallet, all future BTAF Token Whisper Drops will automatically be added to your wallet. You only need to import a new token once. In the case of Apertum, the same will apply. You need to import the APTM Native Token on the Apertum Chain. Once it’s been imported, you don’t need to do anything further.
